Cathedral Tutorial : Episode One - A New Hope

This is the first of a planned series of videos on how to construct a Gothic Cathedral in Minecraft. I'm planning on trying to get this done in the next month or so. When I recorded this first video I was battling the flu, so my voice is a bit raw. I also had the sniffles and a bad cough, but I TRIED to edit most of that out, which is why you will see a few jump cuts in the video. I'm also just beginning to figure out how to do this video production stuff, so hopefully the quality of the videos and the editting will improve over time. But, hey, I'm retired right now, so I got nothing but time to work on this kind of stuff.

I will warn you that this first video is quite long; about an hour and forty-five minutes. Part of that is becauser this contains quite a bit of background information on the process, so if you are not interested you can fast forward to the actual building stuff. I'm going to try to keep future videos down to less than an hour while making sure to make enough progress to keep it interesting. Also, as I get better at this tutorial stuff I will probably go back and re-edit some of this and/or put in some time stamps to allow you to skip the more tedious parts - you know ... like 90 percent of the video.

I'd appreciate any feedback. I hoope those of you who are interested in the building process will get something out of it.
